First Photos: Soma Rush Special Edition

The Rush has been rocketing around for about 8 years. Some of you might consider that it's an old geezer among modern fixed gear frames. But ask anyone young or old who has ridden one.... the Rush is aptly named.

This Special Edition Rush frame features newly developed Tange track ends, a hometown-inspired headbadge, and is bottle boss-free. Will be available in shops in a couple of weeks. Matching fork has been delayed a couple of months; we recommend one of our chrome-plated lugged forks in the mean time... available threadless or threaded. (Click on images to +)

The Rush in its original configuration is still available in Slick Black or Pearl White.

the "SOMA" lettering looks so much like branding on that other, old Soma bike brand.

Not really. Lettering looks totally different from the old Soma.

It does look a little 'vintage' though.
I like it!

Logo is light years ahead of current burning man tattoo version currently ruining my rush frame. Sell the badge as separate option. i would gladly buy it.

Anyone have pictures of this built up? Also when can we expect the matching fork?

I'm almost certain I'm getting one of these beauties. Will the matching fork be threaded, threadless or will both be available?

Brad: The matching fork when it comes will be threadless only. Working on getting one built up as I write.

This special edition Rush is really nice. It's ashame a threaded, curved fork in matching green paint doesn't seem to be in the works. That option would seal the deal for me. A chrome straight-blade fork leaves me on the fence. Any plans to sell the beautiful new headtube badge separately?
